privacy

still has no account, no server and no analytics. there is nothing to sign in to and nothing anyone can see, because there is nobody on the other end.

what stays on your phone

your boards, the things pinned to them, your photos, drawings, recordings and lists live in still's own storage on your iphone, shared only with still's own widgets and share extension. still does not upload, sync or back them up. if you use icloud backup for your phone, apple backs up still's storage with everything else, under apple's terms.

what still reads, only when you pin the thing that needs it

say no to any of these and everything else on the board works the same.

when still goes online

only to fetch something you asked it for: when you share a web page to still, it asks that page for its title and picture, the way a message preview does; when you give still the address of a gif, it downloads that one file once and keeps it on your phone. neither request carries anything about you: no account, no identifier, no board contents. nothing else is sent anywhere.

paying for still, whole

a subscription is bought, renewed, cancelled and refunded through apple. still sees only whether this apple account has one; it never sees a name, an address or a card, and nothing about a purchase reaches the developer from the app.

deleting it

everything still keeps is on your phone. delete the app and your boards, pictures, recordings and lists go with it. there is no copy anywhere else to ask for.

data collected

none. no tracking, no advertising identifiers, no third-party sdks.
