Smol God — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 21, 2026

Smol God is made by a solo developer. We collect as little as possible and we do not sell or share your data. We do not run our own servers, do not use third-party advertising, and do not use third-party tracking SDKs.

What stays on your device

Your daily dares, streak (“flame”), history, and the marks you scratch are stored on your device, and synced via Apple iCloud only for the features below. We never see them.

The social layer (friends & dares)

If you use the optional friend features, the following is stored in Apple iCloud (CloudKit) so it can reach your friends: a display name you choose, your Apple-provided iCloud user identifier, and the text of dares you send or receive. This data lives in Apple’s iCloud, governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy; the developer cannot read your iCloud account details. Dares are visible only to the sender and recipient. The recipient always learns who dared them once they answer.

Safety

You can block any user and report any dare from inside the app. Reported content is recorded for review and the sender is blocked from reaching you. Dares are screened for unsafe content before sending. Smol God is not intended for children under 13.

Purchases

Smol God+ subscriptions are processed by Apple. We receive only the subscription status needed to unlock features; we never see your payment details. The app keeps simple, anonymous on-device counters (e.g., how often a screen is shown) to understand usage; these are not tied to your identity and never leave aggregate form.

Your choices

You can stop using the social features at any time, block/report users, and delete the app to remove on-device data. To request deletion of dare records associated with you, contact us.
